I hope so.
That's one of the things I've been speculating for quite some time now for how he gets defeated. Swallowing a pill that was too big for him to even chew.
Well, there are other ways he could suffer his final defeat:
1. Either Ellen or Artmesia (or maybe both of them) rip the Demon King(s) from his body and kill him, only to take that power for themselves and become the final boss(es).
2. Shido combines the powers of all Spirits he sealed, absorbs the Qlipha Crystal(s) from Westcott's body, and ultimately deals him a massive fatal blow.
3. All Spirits band together and kill him themselves.
4. Mana kills him for betraying her (telling her DEM had given her a home when all they did was kidnap her, manipulate her memories, and turn her into a pawn in their corrupt games).
5. Nia steals back Beelzebub and uses it to kill Westcott, not only for stealing her Demon King, but for putting her through five years of torture.
6. Kurumi goes back in time to kill Westcott before he even has a chance to summon the First Spirit (but this is the least likely possibility, because that could completely ruin the whole story).
7. However he gets defeated (and his powers are rendered useless), Westcott is forced to turn himself over to the proper authorities. Charges against him: Over 100 million counts of murder, multiple counts each of kidnapping, conspiracy to commit genocide, attempted murder, and larceny, and one count of arson. With countless evidence stacked up against him, his conviction on all charges will be inevitable, and his sentence: Death by hanging. The only thing the prosecution will offer him: A free last meal.
8. What about Ellen? If 7 comes true, she faces the same charges, but in exchange for her testimony against Westcott, rather than receive the same sentence as he, she receives over 100 million concurrent life sentences without possibility of parole and serves it in a maximum security prison in the United Kingdom. No visitors, no mail, no phone calls, no human contact whatsoever. If Westcott dies in any way and she is the only surviving member of DEM not turned against them, she will face the death penalty. (I doubt she will ever redeem herself)
