Synopsis[]
In the <Fraxinus> base, Kotori Itsuka explains to Shido that there are two ways to cope with Spirits: either the first method of striking them and annihilating them, or the second method which is conversing and making the Spirit fall in love.
The other day in school Shido meets with Origami Tobiichi, who tells him to forget what happened with the mysterious girl. When Shido asks her to confirm what she means, Origami says that the entity is something that she needs to defeat. Shido questions if she really thinks that Spirit is evil, which causes Origami to tell him that her parents died five years ago because of a Spirit.
Shido asks Origami if she really can talk freely about what she said. Origami then replies she can as long as he doesn't tell anyone or otherwise it will cause trouble. In the hallways, Shido sees a teacher who has collapsed onto the ground, which causes students to wonder if she is the new teacher. The new teacher ends up being Reine Murasame, who comes to look for Shido because of his training to seduce Spirits. Tamae Okamine arrived alongside Kotori, who headbutts Shido in the stomach. Tamae says that they came looking for him over the PA. Shido tries to ask Kotori about Ratatoskr and Spirits, but Kotori ends up ignoring him and tells him they will discuss the matter later. Shido, Kotori, and Reine enter a room in which Shido's training begins. Kotori and Reine then force Shido to play a dating simulation game. As Shido complains if this really can be considered training, Reine and Kotori inform him that this is merely the first stage of his training.
