Ai Yamabuki & Mii Fujibakama[]
Ai and Mii are Mai's best friends, as they are always seen together. During their university years, Mai is still close to them even after both Ai and Mii have gotten boyfriends. But when her two friends are going on dates, she now hangs out with a new friend named Main.
Tohka Yatogami[]
Mai is good friends with Tohka, having offered Tohka the aquarium tickets that she later used on a date with Shido. Much later, Mai and her friends would go to Comico after receiving Tohka's invitation to buy the manga her group worked on.
Shido Itsuka[]
Shido is one of her classmates. While initially ambivalent to Shido, their relationship took a turn for the worse after Natsumi impersonated him.
